They Kingdom Come is an ecumenical initiative that after 10 years in being run by over 85 denominations and in 90% of nations worldwide.  It is very simple and yet has profound potential.  The idea is to encourage the whole church to prayer for 5 of their relatives and friends in a concentrated way for the ten days from Ascension (when Jesus returned to His Father in Heaven) to Pentecost (when the Holy Spirit came to the disciples).  It is designed to mirror the time the disciples gathered together for prayer (Acts 1: 12-14).  This concentrated prayer resulted in a massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit and many people came to faith.  We also know that all major moves of God are soaked in prayer.

This year, as part of our focus in prayer we are encouraging the church to really get behind this initiative.  This can be done in a number of ways as individuals, families, Prayer Triplets, Small Groups, Congregations and as a whole church.

• Keep up the prayer walking and record the walks on the Holy Here app.
• Ask God to give you 5 people to pray for and commit to regularly praying for them
• Sign up for Thy Kingdom to Come app to help keep you on track
• During the 10 days from Ascension to Pentecost we will have a prayer station set up in the Foyer at All Saints where you can come and prayer
• We hope to have an hour of prayer on Ascension Day evening, details to follow
